Box for Life
We all have our own mountains to climb.
What matters isn't how fast we scale the peak.
But that we push ourselves harder than the day before.
Our Values
We help youth participants to exercise and learn a variety of life skills through mentorship and relationship building and also provide nutritious snacks and a food pantry for youth who need it.
Program participants report:
- Reduced aggression
- Increase energy
- Increase in weekly physical activity
- Increase in community connection
Our Mission
We work hard to maintain our facility while upholding the tradition and values of boxing. Additionally, we try to provide at-risk kids a safe environment to keep them off the streets and develop life skills to aid them in their future through the sport of boxing.
If you are interested in learning the sport of boxing, or just want to come by and see what it’s all about, we would love to meet you and show you around.
Our Team
Kasarani Boxing Club's mission in the community is to improve lives and build community through Boxing. Head trainer Ian Otieno hopes to brighten the lives of all members, contribute to the local community and provide hope to the youth of Nairobi through the art of boxing.

Help support us
We at Kasarani Boxing Club wish to improve our lives through the art of boxing but require the help of others in order to the obtain equipment necessary for training. Please help us become a great training facility which benefits our individual members who are sometimes struggling personally as well as our community.
